    • Huckleberry’s tag was recovered in the mangroves on the Sunken Island Bird Sanctuary, just at the mouth of the Alafia River. It was broken at the top of the tether instead of the weak link indicating that it did not become entangled but was possibly struck by a boat or damaged by other human means. A search was conducted to locate Huckleberry by sonic, but he could not be heard anywhere. We will continue to try to relocate him to retag and remove the remainder of the broken tether.
